How did you get craft foam to look this good? Did you make a skeletal base for it and layer it or what? I'd love to know.

No, I didn't make a skeletal base.. I cut the foam and sticking with glue.
I used 5 mm - 3 mm foam for base form, 2 mm & 1 mm for detail.
